Liverpool is very well-connected to several UK motorways, from the M6 take the M62, M58 or M56 direct to the destination.
The Eurotunnel is the fastest cross-channel operator, with a crossing time of 35 minutes from Calais to Folkestone. There are up to 4 departures an hour at peak times so crossings are frequent. There are also several direct ferry connections from many European destinations including France, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Norway and Spain.
A 1600 space multi-storey car park is perfectly located on Kings Dock next to the ACC. The car park is secure and open 24 hours a day. It’s within walking distance of the city centre and waterfront attractions.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only nine miles from Liverpool’s city centre and offers over 70 inbound UK and European routes. Carriers such as EasyJet, Ryanair, Wizz air, FlyBe, Blue Air and Aer Lingus offer convenient and cost effective air travel from most major European cities.
Travelling by train to Liverpool is very easy. With virgin trains it’s only 2 hours 13 minutes from Central London and they also offer regular direct services from Stafford and Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street. Other rail networks such as London Midland Trains, First Transpennine Express and Northern Rail also run routes to Liverpool from all major UK cities.
Manchester Airport is located approximately 36.5 miles, 52 minutes by road, from the ACC and offers a range of transport facilities. There are several reliable taxi facilities and hire car options should you wish to travel by road. Alternatively there are excellent train links direct from Manchester Airport train station through to Liverpool Lime Street, which depart every half an hour and the average journey times vary between one hour and one hour thirty minutes.
London Heathrow Airport is located approximately 15 miles from London Paddington train station, 30 minutes by car, and 213 miles from Liverpool. The Heathrow Express is the fastest connection between London Paddington Station and Heathrow airport, taking approximately 15 minutes, and it departs every 15 minutes. Once in Central London it is very easy to get to the mainline stations as taxi’s are very easily accessible and London has a fantastic underground train network.
